Frequently Asked Question

Do I need a referral?

A referral is not required for INUS or IV therapy; however, a clinical assessment is necessary before proceeding. In some cases, collaboration with your existing healthcare provider may be recommended.

Are treatments covered by Medicare or private health insurance?

No. Inuspheresis® and IV therapy is not currently covered by Medicare.

What payment methods are accepted?

The clinic accepts cash, card payments and bank transfer. Payment details and timing are discussed with the clinic prior to treatment.

Are online appointments available?

Yes. Virtual sessions with a registered nurse are available for Inuspheresis® enquiries. These sessions are designed to provide general information, explain the assessment process, and discuss next steps.

What types of health concerns can Inuspheresis® support?

Inuspheresis® is used internationally as part of integrative care plans. It has been explored in the context of post-viral symptoms, metabolic issues, and inflammatory conditions. Please speak with a qualified clinician to determine if it may be appropriate for your needs. Inuspheresis® is not intended to diagnose or treat specific medical conditions.

Who is Inuspheresis® suitable for?

Inuspheresis® may be suitable for adults looking to support their health and wellbeing, including those experiencing fatigue or general symptoms of imbalance. A healthcare professional can assess individual suitability based on your medical history and health goals.

How long does a session take?

You’ll be comfortably seated while your blood is filtered through a specialised system. Each session typically lasts between 3 to 4 hours. You are encouraged to rest after the treatment for at least the rest of the day.

Where is Inuspheresis® available in Australia?

Inuspheresis® Perth is currently the only certified provider offering this procedure in Australia. Visit our contact page to book an initial consultation.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of Inuspheresis sessions varies depending on individual health circumstances, treatment goals, and clinical assessment. In some cases, treatments may be scheduled close together, such as two sessions with a two day rest in between. In other cases, treatments may be spaced further apart, ranging from several days to up to months between sessions.

Your treating healthcare professional will recommend an appropriate treatment schedule following your initial consultation and ongoing assessment.

How Much Does Inuspheresis Cost?
The cost of Inuspheresis® varies depending on individual clinical needs, the number of sessions recommended, and the overall treatment plan developed during your consultation. Because each patient’s circumstances are different, pricing is discussed directly with our clinical team after an initial assessment. To learn more about fees or to discuss whether INUS may be appropriate for you, please contact the clinic. Our team can provide general guidance and arrange a no-cost initial consultation with a trained nurse.
